Pastor David E. Sumrall explores Romans 1:18-19. He observed that the more truth God reveals to someone, the more their unrighteousness tends to manifest. While it may seem as if people living in sin are going in the wrong direction, they are actually using sin to suppress the truth their hearts are wrestling with. So, we must recognize individuals' inner struggles when confronted with reality and understand that their sinful behavior is often an attempt to avoid the truth God presents to them daily.
Romans 1:18-19 - "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them."
