Tanya was not looking for Jesus. In fact, she was angry that her husband had become an Adventist. But one unexpected interview at the Colorful Hope Kindergarten in Sofia, Bulgaria, opened her heart in a way she never expected.

She left the interview in tears. For the first time, she felt that God truly loved her.

Nine months later, Tanya gave her heart to Jesus and was baptized.

Then came another life-changing decision. She was offered part-ownership of another kindergarten, a higher salary, and complete freedom to run it her way. But Tanya chose something she believed was far more valuable—a place where God could use her life.

Today, she leads the second location of Colorful Hope, and together with her husband, Denislav, she is helping plant a church in an unentered district of Sofia.

This story reminds us that God can use an ordinary opportunity to create an extraordinary mission.

This quarter’s Thirteenth Sabbath Offering will help Colorful Hope move from a rented facility into a building of its own—creating more opportunities to reach children and families who may have never encountered the love of God.
