📖 Daily Devotional: His Approach
This daily devotional explores the powerful encounter between the risen Jesus and His disciples in John 21:4, when Peter and six other disciples had spent the entire night fishing without catching anything. Confused and directionless after the crucifixion, they failed to recognize Jesus standing on the shore—but He was already there.
Through the story of Peter, the disciples, Mary Magdalene, and the travelers on the road to Emmaus, we see a beautiful biblical theme: sometimes Jesus is present even when we cannot recognize Him. His approach is not one of condemnation but of compassion, tenderness, restoration, and hope. Jesus meets people in their darkest moments, speaks to them with affection, and provides exactly what they need.
If you're experiencing confusion, disappointment, unanswered prayers, failure, or uncertainty about your future, this Christian motivation and Bible devotional is a reminder that you don't have to have everything together before Jesus comes near. He is already on the shore. He sees you. He approaches you with love. And He comes to save, not to punish.
🙏 Watch until the end for a prayer asking God to help us recognize Jesus even when life feels confusing and dark.
