Gary had a bone marrow transplant that left him temporarily partially paralyzed. He needed physiotherapy for a month or so to recover. His wife Freda cared for him day and night. Their son Paul sold packed lunches to his officemates to earn extra money. Freda cooked these lunches and also sold some herself.
One day, Paul told his mother that his company needed a part-time worker. Freda applied for the job to raise funds for Gary's therapy. Gary disliked the idea because Freda came home late every day. They had a heartfelt conversation and expressed their love and gratitude for each other. Gary eventually recovered and prepared a delicious dish for his family.
