There is no stopping Cebu from honoring its patron, Señor Sto. Niño or the Holy Child Jesus. Most events for this year will still be done virtually and the devotees are also encouraged to attend the Sinulog novena masses online. I am blest to be present during the Opening Salvo Mass. There was a short traditional religious Sinulog.

The SVD is a missionary religious congregation composed of priests and brothers. It is one of the largest missionary congregations in the Catholic Church today. At present, I am assigned at DYRF Radio Station at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines.
