Devotional Message:
(Colossians 2:6)
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him."

When we first received Jesus Christ as our Lord, it was a life-changing moment. Many of us can remember how excited we were, how much peace and joy we felt. It was like stepping into a new world where everything felt fresh and full of hope. But Paul’s message in this verse reminds us that receiving Christ is not just a one-time event. It's not just about saying, "I believe" once and moving on. Paul is saying that we must continue to live in Christ every day.

Think about it like planting a tree. When you first plant it, you water it and care for it. But what happens if you stop? The tree will not grow properly. It might even wither. In the same way, if we stop living in Christ after receiving Him, our spiritual lives will start to weaken. Living in Christ means daily choosing to follow Him, to walk with Him, and to let His teachings guide every part of our lives. It's not always easy, but just like caring for a plant or tree takes effort, so does walking with Jesus.

Application:
So, how do we live our lives in Christ? It starts by making Him the center of everything we do. We wake up in the morning and thank Him for the new day. Throughout the day, we ask for His guidance in our choices, whether big or small. When we face challenges, we remember that we are not alone—Jesus is with us, and He has the power to help us. When we feel lost or confused, we turn to His Word and remember His promises.

Living in Christ also means being mindful of how we treat others. Are we showing kindness, patience, and love to the people around us? Are we forgiving, just as Jesus forgave us? This doesn’t mean we will be perfect every day. We will make mistakes, but continuing to live in Christ means that we keep turning back to Him,
