But Jesus' parable points us toward something even greater: the responsibility Christians have to use their abilities, time, resources, influence, and opportunities to help others hear the gospel.
This daily devotional is a message of Christian motivation, faith, courage, stewardship, discipleship, and obedience. You do not need to be the most talented, experienced, or qualified person to make a difference for God's kingdom. The disciples themselves were ordinary people—fishermen, a tax collector, and others whom Jesus called to carry His mission.

The danger is not having only one talent. The danger is burying what God has given you because of fear. God is not asking you to be someone else. He is asking you to faithfully use what He has placed in your hands. Your small act of kindness, courageous conversation, service, generosity, or witness may become something far greater than you can see.
