What Does John 3:16 Really Mean? #bible #devotional
Becoming Christians
John 3:16 is one of the most well-known verses, but its message is more profound than we often realize. It tells us, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
This verse reveals the depth of God’s love. Notice it says, God so loved the world—not just believers, not just the righteous, but everyone. His love is unconditional, reaching all of humanity, no matter our flaws.
The Father’s love was so immense that He gave His most precious gift—His only Son, Yahshua, to die in our place. He didn’t have to, but He chose to out of love.
Our response? To believe. It’s not about earning God’s love or working for salvation. It’s about accepting Yahshua and trusting Him. When we do, we receive the greatest gift—eternal life with Him. This verse is a reminder that no matter who we are, we are deeply loved by God, and His invitation is open to all.
