What We Teach Our Children - April 8, 2024 DD

"What we really believe about God shows in what we teach our children." Today's reading from Joshua 5 teaches that children look up to the principles parents stand for and will eventually walk in them. This is why it's important for parents to have an established relationship with God, know His character, and be in complete obedience to His will so that the next generation will live a righteous lifestyle, pleasing the Lord.

Joshua 5:7-8 NIV
So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised. They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way. And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed.
