God’s fight against pride and His support for humility is personal. Why? Because the sufferings of Jesus is a symbol of humility, not a showcase of pride. Let’s be reminded that it is personal to God when HE fight against pride and when HE support for humility. And again, why is God’s fight against pride and His support for humility is personal? It’s because the sufferings of Jesus is a symbol of humility, not a showcase of pride. If any person will parade his/her pride, he/she is challenging the truth about the suffering of Jesus – that is a symbol of humility.

Suffering most of the times has a negative connotation. Many people who are suffering see it as a curse or consequence. What if the Bible sheds light to this topic of suffering that contradicts our common knowledge or our preconceived ideas? What if suffering is God’s will to make us better people than bitter people? In this preaching series, we will learn to better respond to any suffering. Likewise, with the help of God’s Holy Spirit, we can overcome negative reactions to life’s sufferings and trials and move from suffering to celebrations.
