📖 About This Devotional
This October 7 daily devotional, “His Capacity,” explores the authority of Jesus to forgive sins through the powerful story of the paralyzed man in Mark 2. When the scribes questioned Jesus’ authority, He made a claim that went far beyond religious teaching: the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.
This Christian motivation and Bible devotional reveals why Jesus did not merely speak on God’s behalf—He demonstrated divine authority Himself. With no human mediator, ritual, or religious gatekeeper standing between the sinner and Christ, Jesus offered forgiveness directly and completely, followed by physical healing and restoration.
If you are struggling with guilt, shame, forgiveness, spiritual restoration, or feeling unworthy before God, this devotional offers a powerful reminder: Jesus does not tell you to remain trapped in your past. He calls you to rise, walk, and live in the freedom of His grace.
Jesus has the authority to forgive, restore, and give you a new beginning. Jesus wins.
