Wise Decision: Emotions | Coach Jhang Baliña

The third week of our October Series, kinausap tayo ng Lord about wise decision making through our anointed coach, Jhang Baliña.

Coach Jhang helped us remember some truths about how we make decisions according sa ating emosyon— na minsan kapag emosyonal tayo, hindi natin mapigilan na kumilos agad-agad ayon sa nararamdaman.

Pero tama nga ba at kalugod lugod parin sa Lord ang nagiging bawat kilos natin tuwing napangunahan na ng emosyon?

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Coach Jhang helps us know how we can make wise decisions when emotions arise.

1. Hold back. Let us think twice and huwag agad-agad mag-respond sa ating emosyon. Yes, hindi natin babalewalain yung nararamdaman natin pero dapt nating ma-control ito so that we can operate in wisdom and makita ang iba’t ibang options na pwedeng maging magandang solusyon.

2. Get your heart right. Kung ano ‘yung nararamdaman natin, ipa-deal natin sa Lord lahat para tayo ay makapagdesisyon hindi na dahil sa emosyon pero according na sa kalooban ng Panginoon.

“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.””

3. Consider the outcome.
Whenever we make decisions, we should consider what will be the outcome of it.

Mayroong regrets na kaakibat kapag na-neglect natin ang Panginoon pagdating sa pagdedesisyon.

Huwag tayong makinig sa sulsol.
Huwag tayong makinig sa emosyon.
Makinig tayo sa sinasabi ng Lord para Siya ang ma-glorify natin sa bawat desisyon.
