YOU ARE INVITED | The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (October 11, 2026) with Sign Language

There is a king who prepared a wedding feast for his son, which received different responses. The invited guests “refused to come.” Others ignored the invitation. Still others mistreated and killed the king’s servants. The king then opened his banquet to everyone, and “the hall was filled with guests.”

Friends, the king’s invitation to the wedding feast of his son can be read as God’s invitation to his kingdom and salvation in his son Jesus. We are all invited. Do we appreciate this? Will we come to his banquet in our wedding garments?

This parable is a good reminder for all of us. God invites all of us to be with him, but are we ready to take the steps in order to fully celebrate and partake of his feast? You may consider yourself unworthy to be part of the feast but the truth is you are invited. Amen.
