Joy, a student who got pregnant by her boyfriend, Adonis, was regretful of their relationship since Adonis suggested she abort the child.

Joy's father, Tochi, was furious and also thought of abortion, but his mother, Joy’s grandmother, revealed that she as well planned to throw Tochi from the bridge because he was abandoned by his real father but was stopped by the guy whom he knew as his father.

Prince, a boy with a speech defect, accidentally bumped into Joy as she alighted from the car. They became close to each other. While she was heartbroken, depressed, and confused, Prince advised her to take care of the child in her womb.

But that night, Prince met an accident and died. Joy finally realized the wisdom in the words of Prince—that God has a plan.
