Our Christ-centered proposal is the highlight of our 2019!

Aaah! Still can’t believe it!
The same stage where I lead souls to worship God was the same place I got 💍 with my principe. It was a Christ-centered surprise proposal planned by Eman and blessed by God. I will always remember that Eman proposed at the foot of the cross. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I thought I was just dreaming when I saw Eman walking towards me while singing his own-composed song dedicated for me. And even when he was standing in front of me, reading words that didn’t easily sink in, I still didn’t assume that he will propose on that day. Our long distance relationship was never easy so I’m just so used that Eman is on “Don Romantiko” mode that he just want to surprise me that day and make me feel so special. But when he said “I am here in front of you with your family and friends but more importantly with GOD AS OUR WITNESS…” my heart started fluttering. I wanted to cry, shout for joy, and also wanted to pray- all these at the same time. haha! But I also want to savor the moment and just look him in the eye. Since I was surprised for the proposal, when he asked me the magical question, “Will you marry me?”, I first uttered a prayer to God and told him, “ Lord this is it. Eman is asking for my hands. And You know that I love him and I desire to be with him, too. As I say “YES”, I want You to bless it. (Exodus 3:15) I want to feel your presence before I say it.” And then I suddenly felt the Holy Spirit touching and placing so much joy in my heart. I knew then that God was with us. So I answered, “God has blessed me. YES!” Surrounded by our family and friends, we celebrated by worshiping God on that day! And that was my favorite part.

We are two people who just seek to please God. Nothing more and nothing less.

It’s been a year with significant number of engagements and little did I know that God has ordained the 8th of December 2019 for me and my warrior poet to make a life-decision. So YES, Emanuel Abarintos, I am marrying you. I am yours! From now on, each time I lead worship, I will remember God’s faithfulness to me that He never failed to give me the best - YOU. I said YES to you and to the future God has in store for us! Thank you and I appreciate everything you do to me. They are perfect!

I am fully aware that this responsibility is not easy and we will surely face trials but I also know that God will always be with us through it all! Jesus Is Lord!
