A NOTE FROM MEKI (THE BRIDE):

While most women dream of their wedding gown, ang noon ko pa finafantasize ay ang aking wedding vow. Simula nang nauso si Jason Magbanua, alam ko nang gusto kong gawing wedding vow ay yung quotable at yung pwedeng pwede ihighlight sa SDE, tsaka yung tipong hahagulgol ang audience afterwards. Naimagine ko noon na siguro 1 week kong icocompose yung wedding vow ko dahil parang essay levels.😝

When the time came natotoo nang magsusulat na ako ng actual wedding vow though, nakakatawa kasi sobrang hindi ako nag-prepare. Sinulat ko ito 3 hours before the wedding not because wala akong pake but because:
1. I was corrected with my motive. Hindi ito essay writing contest at pagandahan ng love story, kundi pagsasaad ng pangako. And...
2. It was easy. With Natz, I always knew what I wanted to say and what I was committing to. Simula palang ng relationship namin, clear na sa akin ang role that I will play in his life.

Hindi ko na alam if there were tears from the audience while I was declaring my wedding vow--it suddenly didn't matter anymore. What mattered was that I was making a promise in front of the Lord and in front of my husband-to-be that I really was intending to fulfill. And that's what we hope that you could do for your personal wedding vows as well, which is why we published this as an example for Christian brides out there :)
