Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Election
Election is the act of God, made before the foundation of the world, in which He chooses certain individuals for salvation. This choice is not based on any merit or good works on their part but solely on God’s sovereign will and grace. Election reveals God’s incredible mercy and highlights the truth that salvation is a gift, not earned by human effort, but given freely by God’s grace.

📖 Bible Readings: Ephesians 1:4-5
(Deuteronomy 7:6, 7:7; Isaiah 45:4; Matthew 22:14; John 6:37, 39-40, 44; John 15:16; Acts 13:48; Romans 8:28-30, 9:11-13, 16; Ephesians 1:4-5, 11; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 1:9; 2 Timothy 2:10; 1 Peter 1:1-2, 2:9; Revelation 13:8; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 10:27-29; Romans 5:8, 8:38-39; Philippians 1:6; Hebrews 7:25; Titus 2:11-12)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. God will never unchoose whom He has chosen.
2. God’s election is based on grace, not on merit.
3. God’s grace is sufficient to transform lives.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Find security in God’s election.
2. Have a worshipful and grateful heart.
3. Prove your salvation by living a renewed life.

🎙Discussion:
Knowing that God chose you, has chosen you, and will always choose you, how does this impact your security in Christ?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and grace. I was lost in sin, undeserving and unworthy, yet You chose me. Not because of anything I have done, but because of Your great mercy. When I was unlovable, You loved me. When I was broken, You restored me. Your grace reached me when I had nothing to offer. Thank You for calling me Your own, for never abandoning me, and for holding me in Your hands. Help me to live in gratitude, to walk in obedience, and to reflect Your love to others. All glory belongs to You, my Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
