The Battle Over Blessing | Lessons from the Book of Job

In Job 1:1, we learn that Job was the richest man in his area, blessed by God in all he did. But satan, upset with God’s favor on Job, sought to devour everything in his life. Yet, even after the hardships, God restored Job's blessings twofold (Job 42:10). This battle is a reminder that God wants to bless and prosper His children, while satan wants to bring destruction.

Today, Pastor shares two important truths:

1. Get over the fear of God blessing you —God wants to prosper you. While the love of money can corrupt, money itself is not the enemy. God is a good Father who gives good gifts to His children.
2. God's blessing looks different at different stages—Like Joseph, God will prosper you whether you’re in a tough season or on top of the world, but success may look different depending on where you are. Open your heart and life to God's blessing, and remember, His favor makes rich and adds no sorrow.
