Fr. Dion, a Catholic Chaplain of the Philippine Army, is devoted to accompanying our soldiers in their pursuit of a noble mission: achieving just and lasting peace. Each day, he proclaims the Gospel, shares brief reflections, and offers prayers for the safety of our soldiers through the program "Salita ng Diyos, Ating Gabay" (The Word of God, Our Guide). Through this platform, he aims to spiritually connect with soldiers and their families, regardless of their assigned locations. Fr. Dion firmly upholds the profound insight of President Manuel Quezon, who emphasized the immense moral value of religion for the greater good. Quezon believed that individuals who have faith in God and sincerely practice their religious beliefs are more likely to respect the law and fulfill their duties effectively. When people collectively and genuinely adhere to their faith, the risk of social disorder and disintegration diminishes significantly.
