The Rooftop Project

The idiom “shout from the rooftops” is defined as “to share some news or information publicly and with as many people as possible”.
It was most likely adapted from ancient practice of heralding news or announcements from the housetops to be heard by a large crowd.
The same phrase was also mentioned in the Bible by Jesus Himself when He commissioned His disciples:
“What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.” (Matthew 10:27)
Today, we cannot cry out from our house decks or balconies to proclaim the Good News, but we have a powerful venue right at our fingertips: THE SOCIAL MEDIA – our modern rooftop. And it reaches not just your neighbors, but to the world at large.
We have a Message worth proclaiming.
