SALAMAT MR C. Music T & T (Tribute and Throwback)
This is a personal Music Tribute To National Artist for Music, Maestro Ryan Cayabyab Myran Etorsa. and a random salute for making all of us Filipinos love and appreciate OPM even more. Thank you to one of my best friends, Andre Magalit-Castillo for putting my favorite Cayabyab songs together. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED PLEASE.

This was recorded/filmed 10 years ago, and 5 years before Mr. C's conferment as National Artist for Music in 2018, and while I was on board the beautiful Adventure of the Seas of the Royal Caribbean International cruise lines. This medley or mashup if you would, was recorded by the arranger himself, Andre Magalit Castillo on the grand piano at Pink Noise Studios (now Wild Grass) in 2005.

Di mo po birthday today Mr C but please indulge me this moment of recognizing your greatness as an artist, musician, and as a person (and for saying Yes! to me to cut the ceremonial ribbon at my first solo exhibit). Always grateful to you, and your great artistry and musicianship.

“The Maestro” made every Filipino fall in love with original Pinoy music, or OPM, through the songs he composed, musicians he mentored and shows he directed." TATLER Philippines
