Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Empowerment for Service
One of the primary works of the Holy Spirit is to empower believers for service. Through the Holy Spirit, God equips and strengthens His people to accomplish His purposes. This empowerment is not merely for personal gain but to manifest God’s presence and bless others. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts, boldness, and wisdom, enabling every believer to serve in ways that bring glory to God and build up the church.

📖 Bible Readings: Acts 1:8
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Ephesians 2:10, 3:16, 4:11-13; Romans 12:6-8; John 14:26; 2 Timothy 1:7; Hebrews 13:20-21; Matthew 10:19-20; Mark 13:11; Luke 12:11-12)

“Disobedience is what stops you to reach your highest potential.” -R.O.

🎙Discussion:
What are the things that hinder you to serve God?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who empowers me to serve You and others. Help me to recognize the spiritual gifts You’ve given me and to use them faithfully for Your glory. Strengthen me with boldness, wisdom, and compassion so that I can bring evidence of Your presence to those around me. May I serve with humility and joy, knowing that every act of service is an opportunity to reflect Your love. Help me to encourage others to do the same, as we build up Your church together. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
