Gone are the days when "Filipinianas" are worn only on special events.
Avel Bacudio a fashion designer from Buhi, Camarines Sur continues to find ways to make Filipinianas wearable and keep the weaving tradition and culture alive.
Avel's creations were recently featured in a fashion show in Malacañang compound for the second "Goldenberg Fashion Series."
It's an initiative of no less than First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
