The Philippine Coast Guard has installed five more navigation buoys in critical areas of the West Philippine Sea in a move to assert Manila's sovereignty in the waters.
The sovereign markers with the Philippine flag were placed in the Patag, Kota, and Panata islands, Juan Felipe reef, and Balagtas fishing ground. This comes amid China's actions in the West Philippine Sea.
