Philippine National Police chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda has filed a complaint against a former member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines for allegedly sowing disinformation to destabilize the Marcos administration.
The AFP is also studying what actions to take against the retired army general for dragging AFP chief Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. in calling for the resignation of President Bongbong Marcos.

Meantime, former President Rodrigo Duterte denies any participation in the alleged destabilization efforts. In fact, he says he wanted to talk to Mr. Marcos about the suspension of his television program on SMNI as he denies he was severely criticizing the government.
