Devotional Message:
(Matthew 11:28)
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Life can be exhausting. We wake up every day with responsibilities, pressures, and expectations. Some days, the weight of our problems feels too heavy to carry. We may be struggling with stress at work, financial difficulties, broken relationships, or personal failures. These burdens can drain our strength, leaving us feeling tired, discouraged, and overwhelmed.
Jesus understands this. That is why He gives us a beautiful invitation in Matthew 11:28. He says, "Come to me." Notice that He doesn’t say, "Figure it out on your own," or "Try harder." Instead, He invites us to come to Him, just as we are—weak, weary, and burdened.
Jesus is offering rest. But this rest is not just physical; it is also spiritual and emotional. It is the kind of rest that refreshes our souls, fills us with peace, and reminds us that we are not alone in our struggles.
This verse also shows that Jesus cares about our burdens. He doesn’t ignore our pain or tell us to push through it by ourselves. Instead, He wants to carry our burdens with us. When we surrender our struggles to Him, He replaces our worries with His peace, our fears with His love, and our exhaustion with His strength.

2. Trust Him with our burdens – Often, we try to control everything, thinking we can handle our problems on our own. But true rest comes when we surrender our worries to Jesus and trust that He is in control.
3. Spend time in His Word – The Bible is filled with God’s promises of peace, strength, and hope. When we read and meditate on His Word, we
