Drawing from the timeless prayer of St. Teresa of Ávila, this reflection invites us to discover a deeper trust in God amid life's uncertainties, disappointments, and trials.

Faith does not mean the absence of fear, nor does trusting God mean accepting injustice or remaining passive in the face of suffering. Rather, genuine faith gives us the courage to confront what is wrong, protect the vulnerable, and persevere in doing what is good—even when the road ahead is difficult, and the results are uncertain.

For those involved in the Church's safeguarding ministry, St. Teresa's spirituality offers an important reminder: **patience is not passivity, detachment is not indifference, and trust in God is never an excuse to tolerate evil.** It is the foundation from which we act with courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to protecting others.

When circumstances change, and our efforts seem to fall short, may we remain steadfast in the assurance that God's faithfulness endures. With God at the center of our lives, may we find the freedom to love more generously, serve more faithfully, and persevere in the pursuit of what is right.

**“Solo Dios basta”—God alone suffices.**
