The situation in our nation and around the world is continually growing darker and darker. Yet each day we experience a semblance of normalcy is a day of being spared from God’s overdue judgment upon this earth.
And yet this divine sparing does not in any way diminish or minimize the truth of God’s soon-coming judgment.

All the warnings and reminders of these things should be more than sufficient for us to keep vigilant and to be ready, not only in “looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God” (2Pet 3:12), but also in “looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells” (2Pet 3:13).
But as we face these dark times, we should have a hopeful perspective – not hopeful about the situation in the world but hopeful about who we are, what we have, and what awaits us as God’s children.
