Paint with me: my reflection on Isaiah 40:8

Here’s a super sped up video of my planned weekend painting. It’s been a while since I held a paintbrush and this time away from my phone screen was the best 3 hours of my life so far. Meditative. Serene. Just letting God’s creativity flow through me.

Painted a flower to remind myself that this world has nothing for me. Just like how this dainty flower fades, nothing in this world can satisfy or fill me up. Why should I hold on to them? Only God’s Word endures forever. And to that, I cling.
