“Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ,” Paul said to the Christians at Corinth. This is not to mean that we are to idolize Paul but to look up to ultimately
Christ, whom he faithfully obeyed, suffered for, and died for from the time of their encounter on the road to Damascus. Paul, a recipient of God’s mercy and grace, turned from a persecutor to evangelist, living out God’s purpose, passion, and plan to bring salvation to the Jews and Gentiles, no matter the circumstances.
