PRESENTATION OF PLATFORMS OF GOVERNANCE | We proudly present the Platforms of Governance of each candidate from the Provincial and Congressional levels. Each candidate was given three (3) minutes to share their respective platforms before the presbyterium.
We thank the Diocesan Commission on Good Governance, in collaboration with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) of Surigao del Sur, for successfully holding the “Duyog Panaw sa Kalambuan: A Provincial and Congressional Candidates’ Forum” at the Diocesan Pastoral Center in Tandag City.

This meaningful gathering served as a venue for gubernatorial, vice-gubernatorial, and congressional candidates to present their vision and plans in preparation for the 2025 Midterm National and Local Elections. Guided by the theme “Makabagong Halalan para sa Makabagong Pilipino,” the forum aimed to promote transparency, informed decision-making, and a more participative and responsible electorate.
The event was attended by the clergy of the Diocese of Tandag, who expressed their commitment to helping disseminate the candidates’ platforms to their respective parishes and parishioners, fostering a values-based and well-informed voting culture.
