Today's reading from 1 Chronicles teaches us that leadership is a calling from God. As He appoints the position, it is to be taken seriously and with respect. It is also important for one to be supported with strong people who will give proper counsel.

1 Chronicles 11:10 NLT
These are the leaders of David's mighty warriors. Together with all Israel, they decided to make David their king, just as the Lord had promised concerning Israel.
