Ten years on: World Vision’s Typhoon Haiyan response | World Vision

Ten years since Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines in November 2013, families and communities have risen up in unity to recover from their losses. World Vision was one of the first international and local NGOs that responded to the emergency on the ground after the typhoon hit. World Vision was also one of the few agencies that remained to ensure long-term and sustainable recovery and rehabilitation in the communities, concluding our Typhoon Haiyan Response in 2017. Ten years since Typhoon Haiyan, we trace our steps back to the families and children we have worked alongside with to celebrate their strength and courage.
