There was a problem in the Church in Colossae. There was a heresy. There was false teaching that entered that church. If we read through the letter, we could somehow note that this teaching is a mix of Greek philosophy, paganism, and Jewish legalism.

If you really look at the core of the issue, it is really just an undermining of Christ. It is making other things more important than Christ, other ideas more important than the person and work of Jesus Christ.
They don't need paganism, They don't need these, Jewish legalistic things. All they needed is Christ!
Christ is enough,
Christ is sufficient,
Christ is unrivaled,
Christ is supreme.
