Manny began his mining career at Rio Tuba Mining in 1969, where he served as President at just 28 years old. A trained lawyer, Zamora placed third in the 1961 Bar Exam. He also holds degrees in science and law from the University of the Philippines. He stepped down as Nickel Asia's Chairman in 2019 and now serves as its board advisor.

Meanwhile, his son, Martin "Dennis" Zamora Jr., took the reins as President and CEO in 2020. In addition to this, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EPI and all its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Nickel Asia in 2007, Martin was the Philippine Country Manager and Director of UPC Renewables. With a strong background in finance and investment banking, he worked for reputable firms such as CLSA, Robert Fleming & Co. (UK), Jardine Fleming, and SGV & Co.
