We Will Not Be Forgotten | Floy Quintos and Krina Cayabyab | Year of Filipino Pre-Colonial Ancestors

In celebration of the 123rd anniversary of Philippine independence and the Year of Filipino Pre-Colonial Ancestors, the Department of Foreign Affairs released the song "We Will Not Be Forgotten." Written by playwright Floy Quintos and composed by Krina Cayabyab-Viñas, the song celebrates the indigenous in us, Filipinos, and the timelessness of memory, wisdom, heritage, and identity of our ancestors through our cultural heritage, especially among our indigenous peoples. The song was performed by Poppert Bernadas, Melinda Torre, and Baihana, with additional music from The Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group.
