Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Raised in Glory
“Raised in glory” refers to the transformation of our resurrection bodies, which will be glorious, incorruptible, and suited for our eternal reign with Christ. Modeled after the risen Christ, our new bodies will reflect the beauty, strength, and splendor befitting our redeemed status as co-heirs with Him. The Bible emphasizes the continuity and transformation of our bodies—not the abandonment of the physical, but its glorification. The resurrection assures us that death is not the end, but the beginning of our full inheritance in Christ.

📖 Bible Readings: 1 Corinthians 15:42–43
(Philippians 3:20–21; Romans 8:11, 23, 30; 1 John 3:2; John 11:25–26; Acts 24:15; Colossians 2:4; 1 Corinthians 6:14, 15:42-43; 2 Corinthians 4:14; 1 Thessalonians 4:14–17; Revelation 20:12–13)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:

2. Our bodies are redeemed by Christ.
3. Our bodies will be raised in Glory.

2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, I know that someday I will grow old and become weak. My body will fail, and I may become sick in a way that leads to death. I do not know the future, but I know that I am secure in Your hands. Thank You for the glorious hope that one day I will be raised in glory—free from corruption, sin, and sorrow. Help me to live today in light of that coming transformation, honoring You with my body and longing for the day when I will see You face to face. Let the hope of the resurrection renew my strength, fill my heart with joy, and stir me to love others more deeply. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
