Today's Devotion:
365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition
💁🏻 Concept: Purity of the Church
The purity of the Church is not merely about external order but about the inward holiness of its people. Sanctification is God’s work of making His people more like Christ, cleansing them from sin and setting them apart for His purposes. The Church remains pure when its members continually grow in holiness through the Spirit’s power, rejecting sin and pursuing righteousness. This purity is both a gift of grace and a daily responsibility of every believer.
📖 Bible Readings: Ephesians 5:25–27
(Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 1:15–16; John 17:17; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 12:14; (Ephesians 5:25–27; Titus 2:14; Revelation 21:2–3, 9-10; 1 John 3:2–3; Matthew 5:13–14; Philippians 2:15; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Psalm 119:9; John 15:4; Matthew 5:16; Colossians 4:5–6; Romans 12:1-2)

3. Influence the world by being salt and light.
🎙Discussion:
Why does God ask us to offer our bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Him?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving the Church and giving Yourself to make her holy. I confess that I often fall short of Your standard of purity. Cleanse my heart from every sin and renew my desire to live for You. Teach me to walk daily in obedience, resisting temptation and embracing righteousness. Fill me with Your Spirit, that I may reflect Your holiness in my thoughts, words, and actions. I surrender my life to You. Use me for Your glory and honor. That in all things God may be glorified. Amen.
