TOPIC: HAVE I BECOME AN INSTRUMENT OF GOD'S MERCY TO OTHERS?
First Reading: Revelation 11: 4-12
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 144: 1, 2, 9-10
Alleluia: Second Timothy 1: 10
Gospel: Luke 20: 27-40
Do we seek holiness? It's easy to seek holiness and mercy for our own good. But if the gift we experience is truly the mercy of God, then we will be compelled to let Him distribute this overflowing mercy to others through us. Mercy cannot be kept in a selfish way for selfish purposes. It must be shared so that we become an instrument for others to be blessed.
This is the 1672nd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Solphie Confiado, Country Coordinator for CFC Egypt, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
