I am filled with gratitude for the incredible opportunity to participate in "Konyerto Sa Palasyo," a special initiative by the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines. Organized by Radio Television Malacañang (RMTV) under Usec Franz Imperial, in cooperation with the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the staging of each "Konsyerto Sa Palasyo" beautifully highlights Filipino artistry, our rich cultural heritage, along with the various government sectors being given recognition.
Last Sunday, April 27, 2025, the concert focused on honoring our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)—the true heroes who uplift our nation with their unwavering dedication. It was a night of recognition and appreciation, reminding us all of the strength found within our community.
I was deeply honored to represent the OFWs alongside the remarkable Winchester Lopez, the dance captain from the international tour of Miss Saigon, who dazzled us with his choreography and performance of SB19's "MAPA." The talented Rap Canedo from Davao De Oro lent his soulful voice, while Primedance Manila, under the artistic direction of Milai Imperial, brought the performance to life.
I had the privilege of singing two heartfelt songs: "Ang Galing Mo (Bayaning Pilipino)," composed by Eric Sta. Maria, which I originally recorded and performed with 92
