Today's Devotion:
365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition
💁🏻 Concept: Prayer
Prayer is personal communication with God. It is not a ritual or religious duty, but a real and intimate conversation between the Creator and His redeemed children. Through prayer, we adore God, confess our sins, express gratitude, and bring our needs before Him. Prayer is both a means of grace and an act of dependence, grounded in the work of Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit. We don’t pray to inform God—He already knows. We pray to align our hearts with His will, to seek His power, and to enjoy His presence.
📖 Bible Readings: Luke 22:42
(Philippians 4:6-7; Matthew 6:6-13; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Romans 8:26-27; Psalm 145:18; Hebrews 4:16; James 5:16; Luke 22:42; Psalm 27:4; Psalm 50:15)

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that through Christ, I can come boldly to You in prayer. You are near, attentive, and full of grace. Help me to seek You not only in crisis, but in every moment of my day. Teach me to pray with faith, with honesty, and with reverence. Align my desires to Your will. May my heart grow in love for You as I spend time in Your presence. Let prayer not be my last resort, but my first response. I trust in You, and I rest in Your listening heart. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
