Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Presuppositional Apologetics
Presuppositional apologetics is a method of defending the faith that begins with the acknowledgment that everyone operates from foundational beliefs—or presuppositions. This approach argues that the Christian worldview alone provides the necessary foundation for logic, morality, science, and meaning. This method takes seriously the noetic effects of sin and insists that unbelief is not a neutral position—it suppresses the truth. Rather than trying to “prove” God with human reason alone, presuppositional apologetics boldly asserts that without the God of Scripture, one cannot truly account for anything at all.

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, I deeply desire to be shaped by Your Word. Let it renew my mind, direct my steps, and transform my heart. Make Scripture my daily delight—my guide in confusion, my anchor in trials, and my light in darkness. Teach me to think Your thoughts, love what You love, and reject what is false. Help me not to lean on my own wisdom, but to trust completely in Your truth. Let Your Word dwell in me richly, forming my words, decisions, and desires. Lead me by Your Word, and conform me to Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
