John the Baptist is very famous for being the FORERUNNER of JESUS CHRIST.
As JESUS CHRIST' name MESSIAH speaks beautifully of HIS purpose, the word FORERUNNER is a beautiful and humble description of a person who faithfully declares who JESUS is.
A FORERUNNER is a person who goes or is sent in advance to announce the coming of someone or something that follows; herald; harbinger.
This Sunday, let us discover how John the Baptist was chosen by God to be the forerunner of Jesus, how he lived this life according to God's purpose, and how this can affect our lives nowadays.
