Is Being a "Good Person" Enough to Get Saved?
Many believe that simply being a āgood personā guarantees salvation, but does it align with the Bibleās teachings? While goodness is encouraged in scripture, salvation is not about personal virtue alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, āFor by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of Godānot by works, so that no one can boast.ā

In Godās eyes, no amount of āgood deedsā can erase our sins or earn our way to His Kingdom. Jesusā sacrifice paved the way for redemption to be available for us through grace and faith. Good works are a response to His grace, not the ticket to salvation. True salvation is a matter of surrendering to God, trusting in Christās work, and letting Him transform our hearts. So, while goodness is valuable, faith in Jesus is essential.
