Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Omnipresence
Omnipresence is the doctrine that God is present everywhere at all times with His whole being. He does not have size, boundaries, or spatial limitations like creatures do. This means that God is not partly here and partly there—He is fully present in all places, all the time. Yet, His presence is not always the same: He dwells in judgment in hell, in sustaining power over creation, and in covenantal intimacy with His people. Though we cannot always perceive Him, He is never absent. He is near the brokenhearted and dwells richly with those who seek Him.

📖 Bible Readings: Jeremiah 23:23-24
(1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 139:7-10; Jeremiah 23:23-24; Acts 17:27-28; Matthew 18:20; John 14:23; Revelation 21:3)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. God is present in every place at all times.
2. God’s omnipresence is our daily comfort.
3. God is our most intimate relationship.

💪🏼 Applications:

3. Show your faith by being fearless.

🎙Discussion:
In what ways does God’s omnipresence give you peace or encouragement in difficult moments?

2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for always being near. No place is too dark, too distant, or too broken for Your presence. Even when I feel alone, You are with me. Help me to walk daily in awareness of Your nearness. Let Your presence be my peace in chaos, my strength in weakness, and my joy in trials. May I never run from You, but run to You—knowing You are already there. Fill my heart with awe and gratitude for Your faithful presence in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
