Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Peace
Peace, as a divine attribute, means that God is completely separate from all confusion, chaos, or disorder. In His being and actions, He is always calm, consistent, and in perfect harmony. This peace doesn’t mean passivity or inactivity—God is constantly at work in countless, simultaneous events across the universe, yet all are perfectly ordered by His sovereign will. Nothing overwhelms Him. His peace is not just the absence of conflict but the presence of holy order and divine purpose. This is the same peace He offers to His people through Christ.

📖 Bible Readings: Judges 6:24
(1 Corinthians 14:33; Isaiah 26:3; Romans 15:33; Philippians 4:6-7; Colossians 3:15; John 14:27; Judges 6:24)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. God’s peace reflects His sovereign control.
2. God’s peace flows from His unchanging nature.
3. God’s peace is the altar we build in our hearts.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Receive God’s peace through Christ Jesus.
2. Rest in the God who is in control of every situation.
3. Rely on God to bring peace to your relationships.

2. How can you practically apply our devotion?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
God of peace, thank You that You are never shaken, never confused, and never out of control. When my world feels chaotic, remind me that You reign with perfect order and purpose. Fill my heart with Your peace—the kind that surpasses all understanding. Let me not be driven by fear or anxiety, but anchored in the stillness that comes from trusting You. Teach me to walk in harmony with Your will and to reflect Your peace in my words and actions. In the name of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
