💁🏻 Concept: Pentecost
Pentecost was a Jewish feast celebrated fifty days after Passover, originally marking the firstfruits of the harvest. But following the ascension of Jesus, Pentecost became the day the Holy Spirit was poured out in new covenant fullness and power on the disciples (Acts 2). This event marked a dramatic turning point in redemptive history—transitioning from the old covenant work of the Spirit to His new covenant ministry. Pentecost was the Spirit’s empowering of the church for witness, mission, and transformation. What was once promised was now fulfilled—God dwelling with His people, not just among them.

3. Feast of Firstfruits - Resurrection of Jesus
4. Pentecost - The giving of the Spirit

Thank You for making me part of this harvest among the nations. Fill me daily with Your Spirit, that I may live a clean life as Your spiritual house, devoted to loving You with all my heart. Empower me to join in the work of proclaiming the gospel to the nations. Let Your Spirit lead me in holiness, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
