People loves affirmation and recognition. If one's service was not recognized, this can cause conflicts in many relationships. The church is not exempted in this kind of conflict. A church can be divided because of differences in interests, ministry principles or who's better than other ministries, etc. And a lot of times we are blinded by this kind of behavior of trying to show others that we are the greatest in our craft or service to the Lord.
