What Does the Bible Say About Pride Month?
Pride Month is loud. Colorful. Celebrated.
But what does God say?
The Bible doesn’t mention “Pride Month,” but it talks a lot about pride—and it’s not good.
“Pride goes before destruction.” – Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV)
Pride exalts self over God. It says, “I decide who I am.”
But God says, “Follow Me, deny yourself.”
And yes—the Bible clearly says homosexuality is sin.
“Do not be deceived… neither homosexuals… will inherit the kingdom of God.” – 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 (NKJV)
But here’s the good news:
“Such were some of you… but you were washed.” – 1 Corinthians 6:11 (NKJV)
God can transform anyone.
So no, don’t celebrate sin.
Celebrate grace. Truth. Freedom.
Stand firm in love. Speak boldly.
Because truth sets people free.
And no matter what the world says…
God’s Word still stands.
