This Kristiano Drama short film follows Betong and Ipong, two needy friends who planned to steal from the wealthy. Ipong presented himself to Betong as a professional thief, so it didn't take long to convince Betong to join him in robbing.
As Betong gets home, his son asks him for food. He then advised his son to be careful while playing near the roadway and explained that they would only buy canned food.
Betong and Ipong were astonished by the crowds running in one direction as they continued to prepare their crime. One of their neighbors told them that there is a medical mission in their area.
Doubting the purpose of the mission, Betong and Ipong rob one of the doctors. But just as he and Ipong were ready to carry out their heist plan, Beda received a phone call informing him that his son had been in an accident.
When Betong and Ipong arrived at the hospital, they were shocked to see that Dr. Martinez, whom they had planned to rob, was the attending physician.
They learned that despite coming from a low-income home, Dr. Martinez was diligent and supportive of his parents. He excelled in his studies, became a scholar, and received his doctorate.
Betong and Ipong regretted their plan. Ipong revealed to Betong that he had lied when he claimed to be an adept robber. The two then made the decision to work to make a living in the street food industry.
